Chapter (6)
~ Manifest for Non-Human Design
FORM Magazine / 2021
During a week-long workshop led by The Institute for Postnatural Studies at Domaine de Boisbuchet, I encountered Anton Rahlwes, co-editor-in-chief of the German design magazine FORM. Together, we crafted this manifesto, laying the groundwork for a performance staged in the Domaine's woodland.
It was then published in the December 2021 issue of the German magazine FORM. This manifesto stems from a longing to disrupt the routines of designers, encouraging them to reimagine their perception of nature. A call to engage in collective creation infused with empathy, urging the conception of projects that acknowledge the interconnectedness of all living entities. Moreover, it extends an invitation to nurture disruptive, futuristic imaginings constructed upon symbiotic relationships among all beings and our ecosystems.
